Implementing status

Progress/Result of implementation:

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (MIA), as of December 31, 2023, “financial and economic calculations were made, and feasibility studies were developed for tasks (projects) of the Sectoral Program for Information Technology Development of the System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Central Executive Authorities, whose Activities are Directed and Coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, namely:

“Modernization of the MIA’s digital PBX with the expansion of functionality and capabilities of making calls”;

“Measures to determine the technology and develop proposals for the introduction of a unified multi-zone digital radio communication system in the relevant frequency bands for special users of the radio frequency spectrum of Ukraine, the MIA system and central executive authorities.”

“Modernization of the MIA’s Unified Digital Departmental Electronic Communication Network (UDDECN) and the core of the network of the MIA staff, including fault tolerance with due regard to further integration into the national telecommunications network (NTN)”;

“Implementation of secure connections between existing departmental IP telephony networks of central executive authorities in the MIA system, including videoconferencing”;

“Building a secure Wi-Fi wireless communication system, access to services of the MIA UDDECN”;

“Modernization of the central Internet access node, including cloud protection of the MIA information resources”;

“Creation of special electronic communication systems of the MIA unified information system for the transmission (processing) of secret and proprietary information.”

In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine remains a co-implementer of the measure 1.4.2.2.2 of the State Anti-Corruption Program and, if necessary, should be involved in providing relevant proposals to the lead implementer on financial and economic calculations and development of the feasibility study.
