2.1.1.1.1. Monitoring the draft laws that propose amendments to the Laws of Ukraine On the Judicial System and Status of Judges and On the High Council of Justice regarding the assessment of conformity to the criteria of integrity on the part of candidates for the position of a member of the High Council of Justice, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, and the indicators based on which the assessment of conformity to the criterion of integrity is carried out, as well as preparation of the relevant proposals

The measure is aimed at achieving ESR:
2.1.1.1. Integrity has been defined as a mandatory legislative requirement for members of the High Council of Justice, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, and disciplinary authorities in the justice system
Problem solving:
2.1.1. There is a social trend towards a declining level of trust in the justice system. The law does not define integrity as a qualification requirement for members of the High Council of Justice and the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine

За інформацією Вищої ради правосуддя Правовим управлінням секретаріату ВРП забезпечується постійний моніторинг проектів законів, які можуть передбачати внесення змін до Законів України "Про судоустрій і статус суддів”, “Про Вищу раду правосуддя” щодо проведення оцінки відповідності критеріям доброчесності кандидатів посади на посаду члена Вищої ради правосуддя, Вищої кваліфікаційної комісії суддів України та показників, за якими здійснюється оцінка відповідності критерію доброчесності, підготовка відповідних пропозицій.
За 1 квартал 2024 не було виявлено відповідних законодавчих ініціатив.
