In order to execute subclause 1.4 of clause 1 of the plan for organizing the drafting of acts necessary to ensure the implementation of the Law of Ukraine dated January 25, 2022 No. 1999-IX On Amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine Regarding Taxation with Customs Payments of Goods Transported (Sent) in International Postal Shipments, International Express Shipments and the Procedure for their Declaration, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine together with the State Customs Service of Ukraine prepared the Draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 23, 2012 No. 467 (hereinafter - the Draft Resolution), according to which Clause 14 and the appendix to the exhaustive list have been removed from the exhaustive list of grounds on which goods and commercial vehicles can be inspected (re-inspected) by revenue and taxation authorities of Ukraine.
Lengthy approval procedures took place regarding the draft act due to the comments (suggestions) of the State Bureau of Investigation and the Security Service of Ukraine, which were not taken into account. In addition, the draft act was not supported by the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine and the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the Resolution On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 23, 2012 No. 467 dated September 19, 2023 No. 1008.
