Conducting a communications and awareness raising campaign devoted to the importance of public oversight over the activities of executive government agencies and local self-government bodies (with the possible involvement of NGOs and international technical assistance projects in this activity)

The measure is aimed at achieving ESR:

1.2.1.3. The overall level of tolerance of corruption in Ukraine has decreased owing to the dissemination of information to the public about the negative consequences of corruption and corruption-related offenses (for society and the state, as well as for the perpetrators of such offenses), as well as about the importance of ensuring public control over the activities of executive authorities and local self-government bodies

Problem solving:

1.2.1. Everyday corrupt practices are an established norm of conduct and are not perceived as violations of moral or legal norms. There is no consistent demand from the population for public officials to uphold the prescribed rules of ethical conduct and integrity

The communications and awareness raising campaign has been completed. The campaign results have been summarized.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1194 On Amendments to the State Anti-Corruption Programme for 2023-2025 dated 18 October 2024, the content of the measure was amended.

За повідомленням Національного агентства з питань запобігання корупції, станом на 31.12.2024 р. "в 16 регіонах України розміщено борди, сітілайти на вулицях, плакати в метрополітені Харкова, органах місцевого самоврядування, центрах надання адміністративних послуг, закладах охорони здоров'я, центрах для внутрішньо переміщених осіб.

Зважаючи на: суспільну важливість кампанії; тривалий термін погоджень з регіонами можливостей розміщення соціальної реклами; необхідність очікування, поки з'являться доступні площини для розміщення соціальної реклами в містах/регіонах/Укрзалізниці/метрополітенах; доцільності розміщення друкованих матеріалів на більш тривалий період, ніж визначено в ДАП кампанія фактично була продовжена".
