Conducting a communications and awareness raising campaign devoted to the importance of public oversight over the activities of executive government agencies and local self-government bodies (with the possible involvement of NGOs and international technical assistance projects in this activity)

1.2.1.3. The overall level of tolerance of corruption in Ukraine has decreased owing to the dissemination of information to the public about the negative consequences of corruption and corruption-related offenses (for society and the state, as well as for the perpetrators of such offenses), as well as about the importance of ensuring public control over the activities of executive authorities and local self-government bodies
Problem solving:
1.2.1. Everyday corrupt practices are an established norm of conduct and are not perceived as violations of moral or legal norms. There is no consistent demand from the population for public officials to uphold the prescribed rules of ethical conduct and integrity

Implementing status
Progress/Result of implementation:
According to the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, “the ecosystem and campaign concept were developed as of June 30, 2024. Visuals were developed as part of the campaign. Videos were made as part of the campaign. A series of materials were published in the media. An event on public control was held and communicated as part of implementation of the State Anti-Corruption Program (SAP). An event on public control in the defense sector was held and communicated as part of SAP implementation.”
