Communications and awareness raising activities are being regularly conducted to cover the importance of a proactive position of citizens in collaboration with government agencies and local self-government bodies and monitoring of their activities:
a) communications and awareness raising materials have been developed and distributed, covering the impacts of corruption, the role of citizens in preventing and combating corruption, and the feasibility of public control over the activities of government agencies and local self-government bodies (40 percent);
b) a communications and awareness raising campaign has been conducted with a focus on the importance of establishing public control over the activities of government agencies and local self-government bodies (30 percent).
The survey results demonstrate that at least 60 percent of citizens have a negative attitude towards manifestations of corruption.
