За інформацією АТ УОП: "АТ УОП на постійній основі забезпечується проведення підприємствами УОП інвентаризації об'єктів інтелектуальної власності у терміни та з підстав, визначених законодавством України. Дані щодо об'єктів інтелектуальної власності, майнові права на які належать підприємствам УОП, заносяться до Реєстру ОПІВ, що ведеться УОП на підставі наказу від 24.06.2021 № 237. Інформація у Реєстрі ОПІВ оновлюється підприємствами щопівроку. Первісна оцінка ОПІВ, як нематеріального активу, здійснюється підприємствами відповідно до вимог П(С)БУ або МСФО, залежно від облікової політики конкретного підприємства. Подальша оцінка протягом життєвого циклу ОПІВ здійснюється у випадках, прямо передбачених Законом України "Про оцінку майна, майнових прав та професійну оціночну діяльність в Україні".
