3.3.2.4. The National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office are effectively performing their tasks, among other things through:
clarification of legislative provisions on the conclusion of plea agreements in criminal proceedings involving corruption or corruption-related crimes;
ensuring the practical observance of the rules of jurisdiction and holding the prosecutors in breach of such rules accountable;
continued optimization of internal workflows and full-fledged implementation of the electronic criminal proceeding system

Implementing status

Progress/Result of implementation:

According to the information provided by the Prosecutor General's Office, in order to implement this measure, a draft terms of reference was developed to improve the Uniform Register of Pretrial Investigations to implement such changes. In addition, the Prosecutor General's Office arranged for the receipt of a proposal on the timing and cost of the relevant improvements, and conducted a feasibility study of the relevant information technology development project.

The Prosecutor General's Office organised the respective public procurement procedures, which resulted in the conclusion of a contract on 25.09.2023 for the provision of services for the maintenance and development of the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations information system.

The Prosecutor General's Office informs that the contract has been executed, and the respective information search functionality in the Uniform Register of Pretrial Investigation has been available for use since October 30, 2023.
