According to subclause 1 and 2 of Part 2 of Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine No. 1315-VII On Standardization, the powers of the National Standardization Agency include the organization and coordination of the drafting, adoption, verification, revision, cancellation and restoration of national standards, codes of good practice and amendments to them, as well as adoption, cancellation and restoration of national standards, codes of good practice and amendments to them in accordance with the Law. In order to implement this measure, the order of the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Research and Training Center for Standardization, Certification and Quality" dated December 20, 2022 No. 249 adopted the State Standard of Ukraine DSTU 9196:2022 “Motor Roads. Rules for Scheduling Repairs”. The standard entered into force on June 1, 2023, and its requirements are mandatory for enterprises, institutions and organizations that make management decisions regarding the appointment of repair measures during the process of road works planning.
